Shea Butter

My top pick of this Month. The product is a leave in conditioner repair cream.
Cantu Shea Butter it's a leave in conditioning cream. It has a wonderful fragrance, stops and mends hair breakage, repairs split ends and reduce frizz, protect hair from heat damage.
If you are like me, I like to Flat iron my hair on special occasions. Most important this product will hydrate and moisturize your hair.

My Regimen is a 10 Step process really simple to follow Tools ~ Products*

Conditioner, Cantu Shea Butter, Wide tooth comb, Denman brush, hair clips

Step One ~ Co~wash your hair I like to apply my herbal essence conditioner

Step Two ~ Shampoo with a shampoo and conditioner 2 n 1.

Step Three ~ Rinse really well make sure shampoo/conditioner is out of hair
Apply herbal essence conditioner leave on for a few minutes.

Step Four~ Apply herbal essence conditioner leave on for a few minutes more.
Step Five ~ Rinse really well make sure all conditioner is completely out of hair.

Step Six ~ Towel dry your hair, next section your hair into four parts

Step Seven ~ Apply Cantu Shea Butter leave in conditioner from top of roots to the ends of your hair. Do this to each section work a generous amount to each section. Comb through for even distribution. Important, Do Not Rinse!!!!

Step Eight ~ Using a wide tooth comb and a deman brush comb then brush each section.
Start to part each section in half. Next braid each half this will leave you with eight individual braids pin up and let your hair dry naturelle or you can sit under a hair dryer!

Step Nine ~ using a silk sleep cap, satin scarf or even using a satin pillow case before going to sleep. The results will have your hair frizz free laying your ends and smoothing out your hair.

Step Ten ~ Ready to undo your braids the results are amazing. Beautiful Shinny Curls smooth ends, frizz free, and moisturized hair. Note* you can leave in your braids as long as you like.
Sometimes leave my braids in for at least 2-3 days as a style. When you are ready to undo your braids. Your curls will last until your next Co-wash or Shampoo.

Good Hair!!! Peace ~ Blessings!!!

Hair " Co- Washing"

Co - Washing
co-washing, is good for your hair. Contrary to popular belief, this form of washing is good for all hair types. Learn to appreciate the freedom involved in co-washing. You need to have a lot of conditioner since you will be washing your hair often using conditioner. Any conditioner will do.
My 2 favorite conditioners are

Herbal Essence ~ Hello Hydration conditioner is a moisturizing conditioner
Totally Twisted conditioner is for curly or wavy hair
After you are finish, rinse all the conditioner out with cool water. Then towel dry your hair.

Add some leave in conditioner and style as usual. After a few weeks you will notice the difference in the smoothness and condition of your hair.
However, when you deep conditioner your hair you should use a better quality type of conditioner.

My favorite pick for a deep conditioner is Rapid Recovery Treatment by:
Miss Jessie's Restoring moisture and supple elasticity to dry, brittle curls, kinks, waves and naturals. This essential, intense deep treatment is a natural curl’s secret.

Miss Jessie's products are very good.

If you must use shampoo. Use a shampoo without :
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or Laureth Sulfate
My favorite pick Whole Foods Market -365 Everyday value shampoo in
Herbal mint, Lavender blend, & Grapefruit. also try there shower gels & body lotion.
