Breaking News George Zimmerman Not Guilty!
George Zimmerman was acquitted of all charges in the shooting of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black teenager walking home; after a walk to local 7-11.
Trayvon Martin walked to 7-11 to purchase snacks, before the NBA All Stars Game.
The jury of six women returned the not guilty verdict after two days, more than 16 hours of deliberations. Zimmerman was charged with second-degree murder, but the jury had the option of finding him guilty of the lesser charge of manslaughter.
