Energy Boost: Green Smoothie


Green Smoothie Serve: 2

Ingredients:

*1 Banana

* 1/2 cup pineapple

* 1 cup kale leaves or 1/2 bunch of romaine lettuce

* 1 tbsp agave nectar

** optional 2 tbsp chia seeds

Directions :

Blend all ingredients in a vita mix blender or Emulsifier. Start with low speed then high.
Yields about 1 quart of smoothie

Note : Chia seeds can be found in Health food stores.

Although it's green I'm sure it tastes delicious right? What are the benefits to chia seeds? This is the first time I've heard of them.
