Day 10 "Agape Yoga"

Day 10 was real special for me not only for my mind~ body ~ soul. For all who participated in class had a chance to make a difference. Today was Donation day all proceeds are going to Bring Hope to Haiti. Each class was complimentary, instructor ask if we can instead donate money to a cause.

Agape pronounce ah'.gah.pay (n): Universal love; a spirit of universal identification, healing, service, and benediction from a loving person towards all things.

Today's practice is base on Kripalu Yoga is an interplay of body, mind and energy. Within the physical body is a subtle flow of rhythmic, energy pulsations that we call prana, or life force.

Kripalu Yoga is also a tool for self empowerment and personal growth. The practice teaches you to tap into your own inner-knowing rather than being dependent upon guidance from external authorities. You learn to be open to what others have to offer without giving away your powers to reason, discriminate and make our own decisions. At the same time, you are also establishing an intimate and nurturing relationship with your body. Every sensation becomes sacred and is responded to with tenderness and compassion, and each session is approached with an attitude of prayer. In Kripalu Yoga your body becomes the temple in which you invoke the presence of the divine. This intention can take you to new depths in your practice and in your life.

Namaste~
