We Honor Toni Morrison (born on February 18,1931)is a Nobel Prize and Pulitzer Prize-winning American novelist, editor, and professor.
Toni's novels among her best, are Song of Solomon, The Bluest Eye, and Beloved. In 1949 Morrison entered Howard University, where she received a B.A. in English. Mrs.
Morrison then earned a Master of Arts degree in English from Cornell University. Around the mid, to late 60's Toni, went to work as an editor at the New York City headquarters of Random House. As an editor Mrs.Morrison played a vital role in bringing black literature into the mainstream. In 1988 Toni was awarded Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. In 1993 Toni Morrison was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.
